Crazy Hair Day
The other day I taught the 5th & 6th graders in the class in student teaching a lesson called "Crazy Hair Day". It's main focus is using repetition and line to create wild patterns for "hair" (and background, and abstraction)... Here's my notes from the board during the lesson:
The kids have been begging to see me draw, so I finally gave in and said I would do the assignment too after everyone was finished... And here's what they are all going to see when they walk into class on Monday:
